12ga pump shopping

There are, and I did that. But there is a next step to removing the front half (the barrels) from the break action to see the underside where the choke markings are. I've never needed to do anything like that, so haven't figured it out.
Push the top lever to the right and open the barrels. With the forearm off you can lift the hooks off from the action bar. Reverse to join the barrels back on. To close you may need to move the top lever to the right. It makes cleaning easier to remove the barrels. Interesting that the gun is striker fired, no internal hammers like the 21. Longer barreled guns (28/30) are often mod/full and shorter (26) are IC/mod.

I assume your search is probably over, but I have to give some props to the Benelli SuperNova. Built like a tank. Soft shooting even with a 3-1/2” turkey load. When it’s waterfowl season, I typically bring it along for a little “cast & blast”. I’ve taken lots of ducks, geese, & turkey with this bad boy.

That’s a classy Fenwick rod with a classic Abu Garcia reel. Even set up with the handle on the correct side..

There is nothing worse than a right hand retrieve reel.
I thought the same thing but eventually came around. Basically, anything I cast and retrieve: Left hand retrieve. Anything trolling/in a rod holder, right hand retrieve. Another "rule of thumb" is - reel on bottom: left hand retrieve. Reel on top: Right hand retrieve.

I especially don't like left hand with my heavier tuna gear or even salmon trolling stuff any longer. Once I acquired the taste for right hand on those, I couldn't go back.

If you're be out there shooting at ducks, be sure to wear your Elmer Fudd hat.
