Or the Raiders…
Well, your Raiders beat my beloved Patsies. I'm not taking a shot at them. The raiders are in year 1 of a rebuild. Hopefully Davis lets Carroll have a few years to build a program. You can't win by changing coaches every 2 years. This is where the Jets and the Raiders both get it wrong. They fire coaches far too often.

Its because they hire badly in the first place…i would have given my eye teeth to have Vrabel…

This may be one of those rare instances that moving on is the right move. Pete just isn't that guy anymore. The Seahawks fired him after being the best coach they'd ever had, and for good reason. He still has good vibes, but I'd be shocked if he somehow puts together a competitive team in the NFL again.

Geno got sacked as many times yesterday as Darnold has all season.

Purdy looking good...
:)

I think that you all should go to the internets and look at the history of Jets and Raiders coaches.
You gotta stop the cycle at some point.
The same goes for QB's.
The Jets drafted Darnold and Geno as well as a bunch more. QB's need stability, not turnover. There is a reason that the QB's that they draft flame out.
Vrabel has been great. He chose well when he chose to go to the Pats with Maye and he chose really well with McDaniels. He deserves credit.

Jets and Raiders are also very bad at hiring coaches.

probably no coincidence that they are both in the top 4 for worst records in the last 20 years....

On behalf of the Broncos I would like to thank the Seahawks for causing the Commanders QB unlikely to play this Sunday.

Indeed they are. They will continue to be. They both assure themselves of this by firing coaches so quickly.

Jets had a vacancy this year and could have hired Vrabel. Why would he go there and coach knowing hte axe is over his head from the start. Why would any solid coaching candidate go to the Raiders?

It's a chicken and egg sort of deal. You won't get good coaches when they aren't supported and given time. They won't come and coach for you. It's also really hard to develop a QB while changing coaches.

Bill Bellichik was 5-11 his first year in NE. Jimmy Johnson was 1-15 his first year in Dallas. Andy reid was 5-11 his first year in Philly. I would guess that would get all of them both if they were coaching the Jets or Raiders.

I think Jets should have given Saleh a few more years. He's probably the best they've had or will get for some time.

The Jets should stop firing coaches and fire Woody Johnson.
No playoff appearances in 15 years and a .428 winning percentage under his ownership.

Bad owners=bad teams...

Just that simple

Some teams choose poor GM's too, which even with a good ownership group can lead to a series of down years...throw in a few bad drafts, loss of a couple of key players to free agency, a good coordinator moving on for a better gig and boom

Yer a cellar dweller

Two more days to Thanksgiving, and then the NFL season kicks into high gear.
