NFR Nothing to do with fishing, just a great story (and in Bremerton)

Non-fishing related
Only the NY Times would ever have this kind of reporting

This is a share and should work.
I worked with Paul Lundy for over 9 years before he left and bought the typewriter repair shop in Bremerton. Paul is a very nice man and a good hiker. He gave me my safety and radiation training during my first week of work at that company. I remember he was a stickler for compliance with safety regulations and did frequent surprise inspections in the laboratories. As the company went from a small one building operation to a rapidly expanding 6 building operation I could tell he was getting spread thin. I wasn't really surprised that he retired early, but the typewriter business was out of the blue. He was also into bee keeping and organic gardening. I need to head over to Bremerton again soon and say hi.

Thanks very much Kmudgn. Really good story. I like stories that make me think, and that inspire respect for others and for myself.
