Awesome Dogs of PNW

It’s always a little awkward when the Costco pharmacist asks for the patient’s DOB and name and you have to explain that this patient is a dog and the DOB is basically a best guess/we picked a day.
Nah, it isn't awkward at all.

My previous dog was dying of bone cancer and the vet prescribed a cocktail of pain killers to keep him comfortable.

I went ahead and signed up for GoodRX and started filling the prescriptions at the local pharmacy. This went on for about three months until the pharmacist informed me that they did NOT realize that the prescription was for a DOG and that GoodRX would no longer cover the discounted cost.

That was fine.

My question........who names their kid Bugaboo???

This is our new edition. Breeders called her Fiona. Kay calls her Fiona Freckles, none of which she answers to. (Edit 28/12/25; after some serious work by Kay and Abby to find name that she'd respond to, puppy is now known as Willow Wigglebottom. )

Puppy energy being what it is, it's hard to get this one to sit still for longer than 30 seconds. At 9 weeks she's already learned doggie door and even did a full UP on the stairs here. That surprised all of us.

Doggie door, one of the best things for dog owners. Our dogs are in and out all day long.

And...got my pup a neoprene vest in hopes of getting some river time.

She's not too happy with it just yet....but she's warming to it...;)

And hopefully she'll adjust to her anti-seizure meds soon cuz she's so doped up right now.....she's stumbling around like she's heading home after a hard night o' drinking.

Make sure the leg holes don't chafe her legs (I'm assuming the vest is neoprene). I usually enlarged those holes to avoid the chafing issue.

You are welcome!
