Edge Fly Rods mini review

I hope they get it together too. the recent stuff they have been offering is tempting, and I like the rods I have. I drew a line in the sand and I contacted them and told them they would get no more of my cash until I had received everything I have already paid for. I'm still lacking two tubes, and it's getting to about 18 months. I already bought some tubes, but it's the principle.

I have an update on this thread. I broke the tip on my single hander 907 this fall fishing for pinks. Not clear why it broke, but it meant another interaction with Edge. I got a quick response from them on what to do for the repair. I was required to send in the whole rod and pay $75 to replace the tip. So about $100 total with shipping and repair fee. They turned it around in about three weeks and - wait for it - they sent me both the tube for my 907 single hander AND my 1267 spey rod! The tubes are black carbon fiber with no branding on them, very generic, but I have them now. The process was efficient and comparable to what I would normally expect. I'm hoping they are starting to get it together.
How long was the tube for the 907? I got tubes in the mail for my 9' rods a few weeks ago. They are long enough for a 10 foot rod. I sent an email asking about this and crickets...

I like the blanks, too. I have another NFC rod, a switch built on the LMX FASW1106-4 blank for me by Big Horn Rodworks (https://bighornrodworks.com/; Can't say enough positive about their work), that is my new favorite rod. But it has been a less-than-ideal journey with Edge. Hopefully my most recent experience is a positive sign on their customer service front.

BTW, that 1106-4 blank is on the light side of a 6 wt. I'm using a 330 grain Airflo Skagit Scout and it's perfect, at least for me. Strange since the 7 wt spey I bought from Edge feels more like an 8/9 wt.
