Yesavage is more than just a rad name... the dude can pitch. He's going to be trouble for the American League for a while (if he stays in the league, of course). Dodgers may be in a hair of trouble, but 4 innings left to change it to Blue Jays being in trouble... playoff baseball is intense, even when you don't have a dog left in the fight.

Boy did Barger make a great catch a second ago....

I had the pleasure of meeting him in back in 2001. He was just as witty in person, but he was also incredibly kind and gracious with his time. He did a get-well video gram for my father in-law who was in the hospital at the time. It was totally impromptu. I happened to have a video camera on me at the time. I asked him if he would do it and he didn't bat an eye. True to form he ended the well wishes with, "I hope the nurses touch you in a special place". It was hilarious and my father-n-law loved it.

Local dude too. Born in Kent, Wa. Played @ Wenatchee Valley CC …. was known for tossing the ball a bit back in the day. After all Don ‘Air’ Coryell coached there for a season before he was there of course.

I guess the Jays have a payroll almost as obscene as the Dodgers, Yanks, Sox, Mets, and the like, but they are fun to watch, especially once it's not your team on the losing end anymore LOL.

Looks like Yamamoto vs. Gausman Friday. That should be a gem if both do their thing. Yamamoto has been unreal through the playoffs. What would Game 7 be if it went there? Ohtani vs. Bieber?
 
Nice that the M's went neck-and-neck with the Jays; would have been a real drag if they'd gone home in 5 games or something like that. Bichette wasn't available for that series, but Springer was healthy (with a sore knee thx to Dr. Woo). All that to say it's reasonable to believe that they would have had a competitive series with the Dodgers had they gone to the WS.

Lots of interesting times. Dead ball - new to me. And that double play. Wow.

Glad game 7 is going to happen. Well earned....
 
That particular instance of the dead ball rule was total BS. There was nothing stopping the player from being able to physically pick it up.
 
Ohtani vs Scherzer starting pitchers. Blue Jays have been hitting the ball well, the Dodgers bats will need to erupt to win it all tonight.
