Crazy how schools can afford to do this while other excellent learning institutions struggle, financially.
It is damned crazy indeed to think that sports coaches can make tens of millions of dollars while teachers are underpaid and often have to work summer jobs to make ends meet. Sports stars can now make millions while still in college whereas many students graduate with overwhelming debt that stymies their progress for years. Never has the tail wagged the dog this hard. Why can't we see where this disparity is headed?

Last year Ohio State proved a team can lose a game and still win the natty. Ducks are not out of it even with a loss to Indiana as they showed by laying 42 on Rutgers in the first half. Toughest game left on the schedule is probably the one in Seattle. Go Ducks !

Still trying to decipher if that is a sarcastic comment or one of a little respect? :D
Respect actually, dawgs have a good qb and running back. Only losses are to Ohio St. and Michigan and Seattle is always a tough place to play. USC is looking tough too, but it's at home. I think a lot of coaches are going to look at the Indiana game and make some adjustments. I still think the Ducks can run the table and get into the playoffs but can't disrespect anybody on the way.

Coogs Win !!!!
😁

Alabama and South Carolina tied at 22 on ABC.

But the Gamecocks fumbled and Bama has the ball practically in fg range

Jesse Palmer kept saying Bernard should have gone down and not scored, which is ridiculous because making the field goal isn’t guaranteed. I’ll take the TD and let SC try to score a TD in 30 sec with no timeouts!

Georgia Tech, Vandy and Indiana...

🙂

Best things about NCAA D-1Football so far.

It’s nice to see some new blood.
All those teams are getting great QB play.
I’m not a fan of BYU, but I’m really liking their redshirt freshman QB.

It's better for the sport as a whole for some new teams to step into the mix I think.
If it's always the same 3 SEC teams and same 3 Big10 teams, making all the headlines, folks lose interest...
Notre Dame keeps the casual fan interested though, so they're always good for things.
:)
🤣

Texas / Miss St tied up at 38 on the SEC network.
Crazy game.

Miss St. with some bonehead clock management, plus the fumble...
