Photos from Euro Nymph Swap

Howdy folks. We just completed a euro nymph swap that was started on the "other" forum. I wanted to share the photos here in case anyone was following the old thread to see what was produced. The user names referenced in the photos are from the old forum. Some (most?) Of the tiers are here, too, but I forget who has new names (feel free to chime in to take credit for your work).

For anyone who couldn't guess, Seattlefarq is me. Devin Olsen's Blowtorch size 14 on the left, Lance Egan's Red Dart size 16 on the right. I caught more fish on the Red Dart last year than all other nymphs combined.

So, can I go back and resubmit? You guys put me to shame 😄

Seriously, nice flies and looking forward to fishing them.

Both of those flies are on my list to learn to tie…as well as the duracell & rainbow warrior…

For the record, I'm stoked about yours. Heavy and thin - great anchor fly for quick and/or deep water! Those will get down in a hurry.

excellent work folks!

One of these days I'll venture out of my "whitefish crack" (those who know....KNOW) zone....hahaha!

FWIW, my two (both 16's) are Lance Egan's Silver Bullet Baetis and Devon Olson's Quilldigon. Tutorials & recipes for both are on YouTube.

Mine are the Duracell (left) and "something with hare's ear" on the right. Pretty much just a GBHE with an synthetic wing case and the legs are FTD's "medium."

Dudes…if anyones down for a euronymph swap, I’d be in to participate! I don’t think I’m up for hosting another one for a while but would gladly tie flies for it.

i received my set of swap flies

the toilet paper was an interesting wat to hold flies

thanks to all swappers and the swapmeister

I'm T-Bag (also changed my name on the other forum). Neither of the ones I tied are established patterns, I just threw them together and like how they looked. I'm super happy I got to be inbolved in a swap again! Thanks for hosting that!
