Click pawl reels are the Harley Davidson of the river

Damn! All my reels are disc drags but when I have a steelhead running out line and backing I'd love to hear the noise I don't get. Just one more clue that the run is done and I can start my on the reel retrieve. To my good fortune, I've made this lament many times. So it really doesn't matter, it's all good.

Oh look Dustin's quarterly visit to let us know hes alive. Counter argument, you could argue that noisy reels are simply for the hearing impaired. It is a feature designed to help those with disabilities. If we had it Dustin's way we would have disc drag reels across the board and all handicap ramps will be turned to boulders.

Maybe @Dustin Chromers is just jealous his reels do not make the most noise.

Wrong! There would be no taxpayer funded ramps. You would simply rely on rugged individualism to get to the honey hole.

On the flip side a tax on loud reels is something I would be for. Like a carbon tax but for infernal noise. We could call it The Smails act. Harleys would obviously be subject to the tax under the act as well.

I've never considered Harley and performance to be in the same sentence, maybe broken & on side of the road!

Besides the Hardy Perfect is, after all, Perfect!

Reform or get left behind 🤔 :ROFLMAO:
