Hey everyone!
I bought and refinished a really cool drift boat during the lockdown with my son.
Life has changed and we just dont have the time to fish that I had hoped for, (HS sports etc...)
I've tried to sell it multiple times and just haven't had any luck finding the right buyer or price...soo...
I'm going to give it to someone, kind of.
I want this boat to go to someone who will use it to teach others, especially kids, how to fish.
AND
I want to donate any proceeds from the sale to support kids.
Here's the pitch....
1. Email me why you think you would be the perfect person to have this boat and how you would use it to teach kids (your own or others) how to fish.
2. Toss out a donation number that you think is fair (no minimum) to donate to charity in lieu of the sale price.
I will split any donations equally between 2 organizations that we are deeply connected with.
1. Olive Crest- Olive Crest is a Foster Care and Adoption organization dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, equipping, and restoring children and families in crisis.
2. Hands of Hope International. Hands of Hope is an international missions organization currently serving the people of Guatemala, fighting childhood poverty and malnutrition.
I want to be clear, the person with the most compelling story will be the one to get the boat- not just the person who donates the most. I do hope we can donate some meaningful money, but thats not the most important thing.
Finally- I'm not a content creator, but I do want to film some of this so I can help Olive Crest and Hands of Hope promote their organizations.
