What are you listening to?

I was at a brewery tonight and this came on. I admit I tend to listen mostly to stuff from the 60's and 70's (rock, blues, soul) and this was clearly new, but it sounded familiar, although I couldn't quite put my finger on what it reminded me of - I think a lot of different things influenced this:

Listen to it a few times before you look up the official music video version (you will likely be distracted from the actual song).

Good stuff! Thanks for the new music.

Sounds like Stevie Nicks ...

I'm picturing her supporting LMFAO back then. Then again, smart move considering who's family they were..

You're right, this is a good one, like have everyone take a sip and see what's picked up in the bourbon. My ear said Stevie with a dash of Meghan Trainor, backed by Jefferson A, Moody B's, a little Ledzep, and just a dash of (i know, weird) Gordon Lightfoot all tossed in a blender. Could pull a lot of directions but that was first pass.

Nice find 👍👍

I can't seem to get this one out of my head:

Listening tip: you might consider moving the furniture back just a bit...........:):):):)

Just had to go to YouTube to hear the rest - outstanding, thanks for posting!!

cheers

Love the heat and fun of this one:

I knew a guy like that. Didn't care where or how he parked. Spent 9 months in county lockup for driving on a license that had been suspended for 6 years.

His son wasn't much better. Drove for over 20 years before he got stopped and they found out he never had one.

Texas in the 80's. Gotta love it.
