Pope's origin story has something to do with Jake and Elwood and the Nun...... I mean Elwood is basically the right age as the new Pope, and we know Jake didn't make it, so.... is the the new pope actually Elwood? If so, at the very least, Elwood hates Nazis, especially Illinois Nazis...which if you are Pope is pretty good position to start from
