New Hotrod for a friend……

I just finished a two piece, 7’ 4/5 weight Hotrod for my friend Brady. His first bamboo rod!……walnut stained cane, darkened reverse full wells grip, twin band walnut reelseat, fiberglass ferrule, agate stripper, lite wire snake guides, and black/white variegated tiger thread wraps with black trim. Really looking forward to see him catch his first fish on it!

A happy camper went home with his new rod! Brady lawn cast it in my backyard……fits his casting stroke to a T! I think we converted another to bamboo……I said meet me at the lake tomorrow evening and devirginize this stick!

Brady’s Hotrod got devirginized today big time!! We both were fishing indicators with a bunch of double headers, ton of misses, and over 50 fish each! Beautiful sunny hot day on the lake! I know he’s hooked now……

Man, Steve (@Bambooflyguy) and I had a blast on the water today definitely devirginized and broke in the rod I would say for sure today. I don't know what kind of hex or voodoo Steve put on me but I am for sure hooked on my bamboo.
