What’s the best landing net deal out there?

Lost my fancy schmancy net a while back and I am not going to shell out the coin to replace in kind. Any suggestions on a decent budget net?

Requirements:
Fish-friendly net material
Frame made of something that can handle exposure to the salt

Got this for $5 at an estate sale today. Probably could have offered $2, but they had a lot of nice stuff, nothing fishing though other than the net!

It looks like it's never been used!

Hit a few thrift stores and find an aluminum net- pick one with a hoop size and handle length you like. The net will be knotted, tangled and dry-rotten (not fish friendly at all). Cut it right off. Hop on eBay and buy a “replacement rubber net bag” of the approximate circumference of your hoop. Should be all-in for less than $50.

Here comes the good stuff. Thanks guys. I do have an old aluminum landing net and was wondering about the re-netting angle. Will check out the Frabill too.
 
guy I occasionally see on one of the Cascade lakes uses a fibreglass tennis racket strung with a catch and release net...$10 for a used racket at the second hand shop and $25 for the net = light and sturdy.
