Boat rentals?

Hi all!

I would really enjoy a day where I could rent a small boat already located at a lake and fish. I'm mostly looking somewhere close to PDX (within two hours). I know lost lake resort on hood offers some canoe and other small boat rentals. Hagg I believe has paddle boards and kayaks but I am looking for more lost lake type rentals and or a little bigger. I already own a float tube but to be honest I don't find a lot of joy in it, and I unfortunately dont have the space to store anything non inflatable. I was heavily considering purchasing a portabote but it would be a huge eyesore and awkward to store in the apartment.

Lake Billy Chinook is about 2 hours away, and has boat rentals at Cove Palisades. Probably a little more than what you are looking for though. Spring fishing for bulls in LBC has been on the want-to-do list for awhile....

Central Oregon has a several fun lakes with boat rentals, but more like 3.5 -4 hours away.

Or you might want to consider buying that Scout (or a similar frameless pontoon) off the classifieds and rig it up with an electric trolling motor and you have a sort of boat that doesn't take up a lot of space.

Float tubes can be pretty fun though, and if you already have a tube, the price is right! I go out in my tube around PDX quite a bit. If you ever want some company out float tubing, drop me a DM.

Thank you! Those boats do seem like a "bit" much but thank you a ton for the info. If I decide to bring my tube back out I will definitely hit you up!
