Went to that and all of the posts except for the last few are from Jan. 26, which is before current events. The last five posts are from the past week and four of those have been moderated away. Not exactly a vote of confidence.
I'm more worried about parking in the greater Seattle area.I'm more worried about parking up on the Sky, Skagit, Sauk, etc. I just had my passenger side mirror stolen on my Kia a few weeks ago in Redmond, they jacked my door up too. Just have to keep going and ignore the a-holes!
I'm headed to BC later this Summer. Trying to figure out which persona I should try on. I do need a question answered by any BC residents here. Does East Coast style play in the West?My wife and I tend to blend in pretty good when we travel, we were mistaken for locals at one point....

Ah, you must have one of those metric vehicles for those to fit.I did go up last month and buy some used tires from a guy. He was leery but I was able to disarm him with my charming personality and get a great deal on some tires.

I belive if you follow the "Golden Rule", and the Smart Style rule "Respect Gets Respect", you'll be fine.
Wearing a Bare Naked Ladies tour shirt couldn't hurt.
Good thread! The only thing I've heard is that many American products have been taken off of the shelves. Things like bourbon, Jack Daniels and other major brands. Just one more thing that will hurt our economy.
I plan on going up at some time, it's been a while since I've been up in BC. Maybe take a train up.

BINGO!!I live in Kamloops and we have had folks from Washington state in the past month going skiing at a nearby mountain and I haven't heard of any vandalism, altercations, etc. Be polite, keep your political thoughts to yourself and enjoy your vacation.
Damn! That's my safe word too... ummm, nevermind..Kinda like Dave Boyle, I'm a little concerned about re-entering the US. I've sent a bunch of emails to the White House, various department heads, and the congressional majority leaders. I wonder what sort of list I'm on. Sure hoping they'll believe me when I say my doctor already checked my prostate this year.
Maple Syrup is the 'safe word' the wife and I came up with. Hope I don't need it.but feel free to use it.

Actually, my truck was first owned in Alberta.Ah, you must have one of those metric vehicles for those to fit.
Yup, the "MT residents" that have lived there for 6 months can get pretty spun up by out of staters and Wa now seems to rank just below California.I too would be more worried about parking my vehicle at Three Dollar Bridge ,a few reports in recent years of out of state vehicles getting their tires slashed . Although it's been awhile since being in Canada with a vehicle , I have never had any issues .
During the first Trump administration I got put on a list. For about a year, every boarding pass had "ssss". Fun times. They'd shut down the security line I was in while I got very thoroughly checked. Got interviewed by the FBI in the Paris airport. Small airports didn't know what to do with me. But no prostate exams, fortunately.Kinda like Dave Boyle, I'm a little concerned about re-entering the US. I joke but I am a wee bit concerned about the return. Before retirement, one of the hats I wore required regular FBI background checks and so traveling was never an issue. Hopefully I'm simply overthinking it....I guess I'll know by lunchtime ThursdayDuring the first Trump administration I got put on a list. For about a year, every boarding pass had "ssss". Fun times.
