What hook/size did you tie those on? They look great for some ice out fishing that will be arriving in a month or so. I'm guessing they will work great before run off starts as well.

that Purple one in a size 10, dangling a size 18 Dark Assassin (variation on Cal's Bird Nest), is my go to searching patterns here on the Cascade lakes.

How do you do those tails? And what's the material if you don't mind sharing?

It’s a long piece of medium chenille and black uv polar chenille side by side, twisted up heavily and let it furled back into itself. Brush all the polar chenille out and trim to desired length.

Nice craws I got to do some of that.
