What are you listening to?

Same here. I listen to a large variety of music, but I recognize that 90% of what I listen to is of no interest to folks here. Hell, the few songs I do post nobody really gives a shit about, I just can't help myself and feel the need to throw in some curve balls here and there.

I mean, it's not outrageous that age has a fairly large impact on ones musical taste. There's a reason I don't see much mumble rap posted here.

Obviously doesn't dictate all musical tastes but Id be willing to bet a large sum of money that there is a direct correlation to the songs posted compared to the average age of the posters.
I take this thread literally. What are you listening to? So i post some of that. I purposely do not post much classic stuff from various genres. I post what i hope people have not heard. Truthfully when very young and starting to buy vinyl Ibought that Stuff. Now I can’t collect anywhere close to what I used to. So i would rather find something new to me or share something a bit obscure . Like:

The best music is the music I was listening to when I was 17-24 years old.

Now here's something different for me...

Stumbled on Harry Mack fairly recently on YouTube and oh boy did it send me down a rabbit hole.

Freestyle rap is definitely not something Im super familiar with, and I'm not a big rap guy overall, but I find this dude fascinating. I don't necessarily have to vibe with a musical style if I can appreciate the talent, and this is a prime example. I simply enjoy watching talent at the highest level, and this guy certainly gives me that vibe.

Not for everyone, but some of you might find it fun as I do. I just enjoy this guys vibe in general. He's always super positive and just seems like a great dude. This is just one example of what sort of content he has on his channel, and there is a LOT of content there. He does a lot of live, on the street stuff but his Omegle videos are my fav. I enjoy other people's reactions quite a bit.

Anyway, check him out if you're open to some wholesome entertainment or just like witnessing humans perform at a level unobtainable to most.

It's amazing. 99% of the songs posted are older than 20 years. I guess it's a reflection of the readership here.

Here's my donation today, The Stranglers' "Nice N Sleazy." Listen to some amazing bass guitar by JJ Brunel.

Sounds like a cover of an Ian Dury song which Mr. Dury intended to do but died before he could.
