What are you listening to?

I will mention a folk artist that i love the early music of. She has been banned for here spoken words. I love her first 5 albums from 86… her name is Michele Shocked. Her opinions I separate from her recorded music. I would post some here but it might offend too many.
Saw her in the late 80's (looking at the archives, it was 87) at the Vancouver (BC that is) Folk Music Festival. A wonderful storyteller, incredibly talented. If I recall, she did a workshop with Billy Bragg. She is a strange mix though, some of her views are hard to reconcile.

Having fun with David Kramer

cheers

She's very good, have a few of her early albums.

Body Count has been getting a bit of play lately....

I really like this cover of a cover....

hopefully this qualifies as music by the judges....

actually, I don't care....carry on...

also, so many people are hating on Linkin Park's latest iteration, but she's good....with a pretty wide range of style....obviously no one can replace Chester, but she does the older songs justice and is great with their new stuff.

I agree. She has huge shoes to fill.
I give her a thumbs up.

I looked up an lp I bought a couple years after it was released in 86. The Texas Campfire tapes as it turns out is a rare one. I have it on vinyl low press numbers and it was an independent pressing before she had a record contract. It was listed in vinylas $300 used.on discogs. A new repress cd was 75$. Yikes!
