Lake etiquette very poor today

No etiquette issues today...my buddy Jeff and I had the lake to ourselves until 1:30ish. Slow going, but I coaxed two healthy Rainbows to strike along shore. And, I did not feed any eagles today (woot woot!).

Okay, in retrospect, I'm not proud of this, but here goes: I started fishing one day on a local stream. Five minutes after I started, two guys with spinning outfits parked next to my car, walked 15 feet upstream of me, and started casting. I yelled at them and of course they yelled back that it isn't my stream, they can do whatever the F they want. I shrugged and waited until they continued upstream around the bend. I went back to my car, dug my tire core remover from the glove box, relieved the guy's truck of all four tire filler cores, and drove home.

I hope this was at least 50 miles from the nearest Les Schwab.

So two wrongs do make a right.
Got it!

I'm not proud of supporting this kind of behavior either, but I kind of enjoy thinking about the surprised stream of profanity when these losers discovered the predicament they were in.

This is some kind of taxicab confession or something. Very interesting! I thought this kind of behavior was limited to steelhead shenanigans. I was wrong.
We appreciate your confession. For penance, offer shuttle rides to anyone who needs one no matter how dirty and sketchy they look as long as they have any kind of waders on. For life. And, pick up more stream-side trash.

I have had similar thoughts but never followed through. Mainly because I think about ---> what if it happened to me, how would I feel and deal with it?

Now if only 1 tire, they would get the message. Leave the center tire core in case they did not have a spare tire.

I don't know if that's a good idea.

Let's keep it in "opinion mode", and not have them prove it to us by
Confessing to something confirming they're truly a degenerate asshole.

Zebras don't lose their stripes over the years.

Temporary insanity. Probably not a degenerate asshole. Tough love educator?
Long ago on the fifth of July after a spectacular night of drinking, I arrived at my car to find all four tires flat. The culprit, had awoken me at 5 am and offered to help me. He was mad because I grabbed his motorcycle keys the night before to keep him from riding drunk. He was wanting to teach me a lesson. Who's the asshole. I can't call him that, and I'm not ashamed to have grabbed his keys.
I hope they had a long walk with plenty of introspection, as it sounds like the deflator has.

Thread could still use some help. You're forgiven. 😉⛪
