Madness.... Madness

Is anyone going to do the honors of setting up a PNWFF bracket challenge on the ESPN or something when the time comes?

You call this madness, WTF do you call Ukraine?

You wanna see madness?? Wait for my reaction when the Vols choke against some mid-west bible college in the second round once again. I'll show you all madness 🤬

It just seems to be so superfluous and meaningless today…

... could say that about just about every other thread on this sight. Like I said, not much I can do about Ukraine, other than stay informed (I am) and contribute to some relief efforts, which we have done.

Dare I say "Matness"? Hoping there are a few College Wrestling fans??? Probably not,
@swimmy might be a fan, and a bit more. Pretty sure there are several others as well.

Huge fan.

Started wrestling when I was 5, won a couple state titles in high school, and even got a scholarship to wrestle Div I. I'm proud of my accomplishments. I was not the most athletic or naturally gifted but I was determined to win and worked harder than anyone else.

I still carry the lessons and values learned through the sport into my adult life. If you can be successful in wrestling, you can be successful at pretty much anything.

I think Penn State is going to be hard to beat.

Fair enough, maybe I’m overreacting… peace bro…

Not a problem Sir, I understand the reaction completely; my Mother-in-Law was a Ukrainian POW/refugee from WWII, she married one of her liberators. We have extended family just outside of Odessa, last we heard they were safe, but that was 4 days ago. It's hard not being all-consumed by what is going on there, but that in our family can be a dangerous thing "grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference"

cheers

To quote David Taylor ”Wrestling is the ultimate fight or flight. Dig in or give in!“

@swimmy I think you’ve got this same attitude.

And I think we can also say that many Ukranians would make great wrestlers.
