NFR Creative ways to save on propane usage

Rather than using the bbg to heat a can of soup, we used 4 small 'votive' candles, a 1/2 inch tall, in a small pot in a cupcake tin to heat the soup. Works great, just takes a bit longer... Works great!

I like my Biolite camping stove, that can run on pinecones and twigs and uses some sorcery to charge my phone off of heat differentials.

It's an upgrade from the Sierra Zip Stove that I used for many years. Can't use it when there's a fire ban, though.

I had ones years ago that was certified by forest service to use during burn bans. Not sure if it was the Sierra
