One of my favorite things to do is hide black flag logos into my work. it could be anything from how copy blocks are laid out, how an illustration is done, or the actual black flag logo in a different shade of black on a different shad of black background. Keeps me entertained.
I'm on my second cup of coffee and I still have no idea what you are talking about.

I preferred Dez to Henry, but Keith can't be overlooked either.
Missed the CJ show last night...would have been fun...

For me it’s really about Greg Ginn, preferably with a side of Keith.

I've seen them several times, all back in the day.
Still have some ticket stubs and gig flyers.

It's not the Russian people it's the leadership. Many Russian people are against this operation. I do have a great deal of sympathy for both the Ukraine people and Russian people that will suffer the consequence of Putin's actions. You don't have the luxury of objection there like you do here. Even if you did it would not net a result. I often object to United States foreign policy decisions and it does little good. Should I deserve to suffer if say our own hunt for weapons of mass destruction was met with greater Iraqi leverage and consequence on Americans? Your comment is about as tone deaf as they come. Most Russians like us are trying to earn a living and stay the hell out of the way of a corrupt government which is a hundred fold more police state than here. It's easy to hate a population of people or a political side of the aisle. It's hard to find compassion for pawns in a real life game of chess with repercussions in blood and carnage.
I was "right on" with your view up until this article and other media outlets starting shedding a different side to the story. I don't think the comments you are addressing are as tone deaf as you might think. And yes, I have seen the thousands of Russian dissenters/protestors arrested. Brave people ruled by autocratic insanity!

Protesting and getting thrown in jail accomplishes nothing.. go kill putin and take over the government. Yes it's that easy

Ukraine may well be an entirely different matter in terms of attempted assimilation, since its population is roughly 40 times greater than Chechnya's. Much heavier lift.
They won't assimilate. Russia tried to force them to assimilate at gunpoint for hundreds of years. Murder them, starve them, threaten them, torture them, beat them, imprison them, rape their women, steal their food, kill their farm animals so they can't feed themselves, forbid them from speaking their own language or printing books in their own language, forbid any class from being taught in Ukrainian inside Ukraine....all that has been done by a succession of Czars, then the Bolsheviks, then Stalin and a long sad list of brutal dictators after him.

People who don't know the history act "surprised" by the Ukrainian resistance and fighting spirit. It is not surprising at all to me. Just look at how many Ukrainian celebrities, many with the money and fame to escape to a safer place, have stayed to fight. Pasha Lee, A famous Ukrainian actor who was in The Hobbit, was just killed fighting the Russians when they shelled Irpin. This goes very deep and is a long, seething anger for Ukrainians. And by killing their women and children and senior citizens, Putin has already pushed it far past the point of no return for them. They will never forget this, because now it isn't a story told by grandma around the kitchen table. Now it is burned in the minds of every Ukrainian forever.

Cluster bombs are great for softish targets. They are or at least we're the weapons of choice for destroying SAM sites.

I think you might be underestimating how hard it would be to kill the autocratic head of a repressive security state.
Thousands of protestors could do anything they wanted.

Kill Em All?
More or less..
The other day there was a video of Poopin sitting around a table with a bunch of people and there looked to be a bunch of heavy tea pots on the table.. I was just thinking, one of you grab one of them and bash his head in..

I hate to "like" ....but fuck, I hate that I kinda feel helpless over in my corner of the US.

Some very simplistic thinking going on in some quarters - There was a mob that stormed our capitol, chanting "Kill Mike Pence" - whether they really intended to or not, they did not get near him - I suspect the Kremlin and Putin would be an even more difficult target.

Edit: that dang spelling issue
