Team Washington - The Podcast

Life of the Party
When I learned that Google released an AI tool that would ingest any content on the web and transmute it into an astonishingly lifelike podcast dialogue about said content, it was immediately clear that the best and highest use of this technological wonder would be feeding it the 'Team Washington" thread from the old site and seeing what it would spit out.

Here, in all of its glory, is the Team Washington Thread Podcast:

Team Washington: The Podcast

Interesting listen.

Depending on one's POV, it is done well or missed the mark and poorly done.

If this is what we will be inundated with in the future ----> we are in trouble no matter what one's POV is...

Washington needs to name cities, lakes, rivers, towns, etc. so that AI will always pronounce them incorrectly. Easiest 'tell' it is AI generated.

The river is not said correctly in this example. Us Washingtonians know of a number of others e.g. town near Pt. Townsend and the mecca in Eastern Wa.

Those two examples of AI are truly scary IMO. They both come off as thoughtful analyses of forum threads that were downright comical at times. Makes me wonder to what extent AI is being used to inject political commentary in places where gullible people will hear it and ingest it.

I mean, we already have large numbers of people who believe very obviously fake AI "photos" are real on facebook. Be it their favorite political candidate, "religious deity signs," or some other very obviously nonsensical picture... Some seem like they were made specifically to see how gullible people would be. Turns out, people will believe literally anything if it's within the scope of what they want to be true.

So, knowing that... yeah, not much of a limit to how much damage this technology can and will do.

Yeah AI will most certainly be manipulated, and there is certainly no shortage of morons out there predisposed to believe whatever garbage is put in front of them.
The mere idea that an individual gets their news from Facebook is frightening enough, manipulated AI news from Facebook is even worse, as if that were possible.
The problem is that there's money in it, and ittle to no regulation, so it will draw the lowest form of amoral humans like flies on shit who will do anything for a buck, and that always works out well.

Now we just need to plan a way to front-run this and get our slice of the pie before it's too late....

I'm currently soliciting investors for my hurricane steering machine...
Listen to my podcast where I have well known politicians and Facebook influencers extolling the abilities of such machines, and their uses inflicting damage to various sociodemographic areas of your choice.
I think it's a winner, just trying to suss out where the Euro nymphers are most concentrated, then giving things a test run with them before going after tenkara users next.
:)

If AI creates such a podcast who is liable for the fraud? Asking for a friend.
