They are here!

This was dispersed by odfw at one point. I think that the regs suggest that a fully healed adipose fin is needed, which I believe would follow the same as odfw.View attachment 125385
The most insane day of coho fishing I’ve had in Puget sound. I’ve technically hooked more fish one day last year but the fish were nowhere near this quality. In addition to the two big ones (7.4 and 7.8 bled) I started the day losing what looked to be a 10-12lber (my dad refused to take the other rod out the rigger and an out of control double header fish made us regret that decision as we lost both) I released a wild that was around 7lbs, and lost a couple. I think we saw that humpback that was posted about earlier! In a much better mood without boats crowding it.
Note the misclip on the small one and while not visible on one of the bigger ones. Thoughts on what to do if fishing an area with wilds closed? The fins clearly are flat at the top where the adipose is supposed to be rounded, and in my mind have a clearly visible scar, little guy especially
I’m excited to see what salmon fishing looks like come middle of September if it’s this good already

I started running them this year and they are working pretty good.Anyone running spin fish or brads cut plugs? I plan on giving those a go when I get back since I've heard good reports from them and I have a couple lying around but I just never got into the scent bait lures. If I'm going through the effort to cut real bait up I'd rather just put the whole/cutplug herring on a hook and give em the real thing

, zero reason to get technical with Coho.
Someone on Facebook is going to try running a cutplug hot dogSo much this. Coho will eat anything.
Also no need to actually use bait in a Brads. It'll catch plenty of coho on its own.
Already did it back in the early 1990’s.Someone on Facebook is going to try running a cutplug hot dog
Important question: Did it work?Already did it back in the early 1990’s.
