Hi everyone! So as some of you know, I love fishing, I love fly fishing, but fly tying is a completely separate world for me and one I don't enjoy even a little bit. But I've had an idea for a coho fly I want to try this year in one of my favorite spots.
It'd be based on the twitching jig style -
- something with a relatively heavy head but still castable. Might employ a 10-11wt to get it done.
- Probably deer hair or synthetic body as bunny would probably add too much mass
- Main ingredient: Fly rattles. https://spawnflyfish.com/products/hareline-glass-rattles?_pos=1&_sid=e7506201c&_ss=r
Anyone want to give it a go? If so, hit me up so we can work out a trade and I can order you some materials.
