I took yesterday off to get some me time, and to range a little further than my usual spots. Apparently, doing this on a weekday was the right move, as I didn’t see another angler all day. The day started slow, with low angle sun and some high clouds making it hard to see fish until they spooked. However, once the skies cleared, I found some happy stupid fish and hooked three out of one pod and four more in another spot later in the day. Only got four in the net, but I’m happy with that.
What I’m not happy with is the other itch I have to scratch. My calves and ankles are covered with tiny, itchy welts, almost like gnat bites. I’m wondering if there’s something that lives in the mud or weeds that either bites or I’m having a reaction to. Anyone else have this happen? Second time this has happened btw
