Padded Trailer Hitch and Ball Cover

Does anyone make a soft PADDED cover for the trailer hitch and ball?
I know I can just remove it, but I am lazy and have banged my knees while loading up bed of my truck multiple times.
I just forget when the tailgate is up that it is there while rushing from one side to the other to tie down. This morning I hit my newly repaired knee and just about pissed my pants.

ouch..my wife goes in for knee replacement in a week, so my sympathy
this might work for the hitch, and they have plenty of ball covers if not wanting to used a sliced old tennis ball, my usual go to
