An agent called me so I paid to avoid jail. Apparently they intercepted my drug shipment. For an agent of the DEA he sure had a heavy accent.

I had another one recently.
An email that appeared to be from someone I know; the TU guy who runs the kokanee counts volunteer program for Lk Samm. Did I have an Amazon account, and could I order something for him? I figured it was possible they just needed some supplies for the trap station, so I responded to him. The email address was his - domain spoofing. What the reply asked for was suss, so I asked what the fry counts were on the other creek the night before. The response ignored the question, so I contacted one of his colleagues to let them know his email had been hijacked.
Devious, these clowns.

So we end up with additional and sometimes costly security systems in place, and they eventually get hacked.

Sorry, I know Hood River and Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks are toll bridges, I fish in Cascade Locks this fall. The tolls that I am referring to are in Metro Portland and people are Hawt Mad....

Don't forget the Wheatland Ferry on the Willamette.
And BTW, Gov. Kotek put the kibosh on proposed tolls so the Hawt Mad folks can direct their ire toward something else...like...what's causing these record temperature heat waves?
