I found this beauty in Washington during the pandemic, when my normal water I fished on the rez was closed. It has brookies, bows, browns, and tiger trout. And way too many pikeminnow. I even caught a crappie in this stretch. It's all public, thick brush. WDFW was nice enough to add places for fishermen to get through the barbed wire with waders. There's a cow proof opening every hundred yards. Just watch out for moose.

I knew someone would chime in about knowing where that was! Pretty popular spot. It amazes me how it fishes so well every time I go even though there are so many people that fish it every day in the summer.

I feel yer pain. That is some pretty country there. At least it was in the early 80’s.
I look at this and remember. It is soon to be my reality again for a decent 
chunk of time!
