NFR Got any mammal pictures

Non-fishing related
Right before I took this picture, a hawk swooped down and landed on the fence where this guy was lying. It came back out of the bushes once the hawk flew off. Close call. Could have been a Douglas squirrel snack for that hawk.

Sorry for the terrible pic, as this thing ran by me today on my way to the beach and was darn quick.
Not sure if it is a weasel or a mink. Fairly small, kind of a long, slender body with a long tail for its body size and mostly brown from what I could tell. Definitely not a Douglas squirrel. Any guesses?

Gary,
Could be. After looking around at some pictures on the web I’m thinking it might have been a long tailed weasel. The tail seemed long for its body size and the habitat they like perfectly describes where I saw it.

After blowing-up the photo and tinkering with contrast, I'm inclined to say Mink. Looks bulkier than a Weasel.

Visited Palouse Falls last week and these guys were running around on the cliff edge like it wasnt there (vertigo was turning my knees to rubber). Not sure what kind of marmot/obese ground squirrel this is but he was not cooperative posing for me. Almost got a great shot with the falls as a backdrop, but the little bastard moved before I could get in focus range.
