G3 boots collecting gravel

Life of the Party
Hey guys I wanted to ask if anyone has the 2023 model of G3's. I have had mine now for about a year now and the felt just fell off of my right boot and they catch the most gravel I have ever seen. I think the G3 means 3 times the amount of gravel collected in your boot. I'm no rocket scientist but I feel like gravel and neoprene booties are not a good combination and is most likely the reason I have had to patch the shit out of my G3 waders over the past year. For as expensive as these boots are I am at least expecting them to remain free of gravel seeing as my first 5 pairs of dirt cheap Cabela's boots never did this to me. Anyone else have the same issue??

I've generally had great luck with my Simms G3 boots but they were all the old school leather upper units. They'd collect some sand and pebbles, stuff that's all 1/8" minus; not what I would call gravel. The only Simms wading boot I had trouble with was the G4 that came out a few years back, this model The felt came loose, lace cleats fell off, uppers started de-laminating. I had 2 returns when Simms finally gave me a dollar for dollar credit. Not sure how old the boots are, you might try filing a warranty request.
