Even though I saw a pack of black Squimpish fiber and a pack of black Nayat, I resisted the urge. Went with feathers for the ass end. Buuuut, I got a small pack of this new type of dubbing from NightmareMuskyFlies that's quite a bit courser than their Titan dub and nearly as long. I ended up mixing it with a little bit of Titan and hope to give it the swim test this weekend...a little 8"er

Waiting for callbacks and emails, might as well tie in between. Not sure what I'm doing with this mop stuff. That color is supposed to be cream. Black Simiseal collar.

Feel better about these hare's ears. Sz. 8 w/ 3.8mm bead for lowering flows. An extra turn of grouse up front really seems to make it a better fly.

I think they’ll wiggle like crazy if I can get the furl the right tension. The mop chenille is lively stuff stripped. And it’s hard to capture in photos but the Aussie possum really does interesting stuff wet. I don’t know much about streamers but I’m intrigued.
