The guides launch and take out there...and some never leave Texas Hole the entire day.

I did TH once with a guide. Boring as fuck. Felt like a fly fishing tourist trap conveyer-belting down and up the San Juan in a drift boat. I’ve had more meaningful times tough-shitting it and racking up a skunk on my favorite piece of water than that experience.

Most of these "Big Name" spots, biggest browns are in the port a potties.

The Walker in the Eastern Sierra has some big Browns, and the lake nearby, huge Browns. These fish get quite large. Taxidermists are a thing in this area..big trophy fish.
