Yeah. Sean Payton has made some questionable coaching decisions lately…. Failing to challenge certain plays where it looks like denver scored. Time out calls. Berating RW3 that one time after an O’line-man lined up offsides. Something not right in Denver.

Benching him and you still have a chance at the playoffs. Think RW3 can plan on selling his Denver home in early 2024.
 
Looks like Payton has benched Wilson for their next game against the Chargers, and starting Stidham .

I think all the stuff Peyton heard about Wilson from how he was or acted with the prior coaching staff soured him on Russell.
I mean, this is how it started at his first press conference. I don’t think it ever changed after that.

They're going to cut him, eat a cap hit next year and move on. Trade him....yeah, good luck with that one.

Stidham will probably be better in Payton's offense anyway.

Pete and John are looking a bit more crafty of late. Pretty sure Rusty will spin it somehow but his massive ego has to be a bit bruised.
 
he's nearing retirement age. he's going to get paid either way. he probably goes off and tries to get a celebrity job somewhere.
