It was total silence up in the clouds yesterday. Nice day for a walk in the foothills.

Saw bobcat tracks in the snow just around that curve in the road.

My oldest daughter spent her Thanksgiving in a tent on the Arizona TrailAt the end…800 miles from UT to Mexico. A couple months before, she completed the Long Trail in Vermont from the Canadian border to MA…

The Arizona Trail interests me. I'm learning that there is a lot of interesting hiking territory in AZ. Apparently it's not all desert and cacti. My oldest daughter is also into long hikes, but given time from work and grad school constraints, she's been working on sections each year. That's really cool that your daughter can carve out the time necessary for through hiking.

Was cleaning up some folders full of hundreds of crap pics when this windshield shot caught my eye. Taken (passenger side) on a drive home down the CR Gorge earlier this fall. Took quite a bit of cropping and adjustments to clean up, but there's something about it I like.
