Not a hater Evan, just an observer. And I am observing the mass acceptance of sophomoric bullshit in the form of a media driven romance. And your reaction is kill the messenger rather than question what the hell is going on here. I am nearing the end of my life and have seen so many changes in values over the years that it is difficult to comprehend but I do know this: In 40 years you young guys are going to be in my shoes living in a world that is more complex, more chaotic, more expensive and far more different than you can yet imagine. And like my grandparents, my parents, and now me-you will lament the loss of things you held dear earlier in life.

If not buying into "conventional wisdom" and "go with the flow" are crimes I certainly am guilty. And "shake it off" has cop out written all over it.

You are obviously privy to insider info not available to the common man. Let me guess, they had the audacity to engage in this regrettable behavior while sneaking onto your lawn. They should be ashamed for such egregious conduct. Perhaps you might reconsider staring out the window.

conversely, 'this world' is their normal for every new generation, the 'world' we respectively experienced is as distant to them as the Mariana Trench..
