Lock will be playing with the same terrible protection and play calling as Geno. He might be ok for a short time until he starts playing scared with the yips like Geno is now. Happens when you have defenders in your face on every play.

I think he is, too. But he's not great under constant pressure. Not many QBs are. But yeah, he's playing terribly right now, but so is everyone around him.

That play with the Walker TD was solid all the way though, though. Great play call and everyone nailed it. Very refreshing.
 
Totally agree with you Evan…..but I wish Pete would’ve given Lock some playing time in the last shitty game during the fourth quarter. Sometimes benching a struggling starter lights a new fire under their ass! My .02
 
I'm sure glad this was supposed to be a pretty easy game for the Hawks. Imagine if it hadn't. I'm ready to see some creativity in the Hawk's offensive toolbox. Their predictability has got to be making other teams' defense look better than they are.
 
Damn phone quit on me before the second half so missed all of it cept the wining field goal.

Geno looked like crap the 1st half, must have gotten better in the second.

Some players respond to different leaders, 1 player change can make a difference sometimes.
