@Jim in Anacortes is highly sought after during Burning Man for his bundles of combustible fat wood. However, his suggestion to replace the man structure with a great wooden otter confuses the other celebrants.

Bohemian Grove has secretly been using fatwood for years...@Jim in Anacortes is highly sought after during Burning Man for his bundles of combustible fat wood. However, his suggestion to replace the man structure with a great wooden otter confuses the other celebrants.

Confusing anyone at burning man is pretty easy. This year the weather forecast called for heavy rain so they moved to lower, flatter ground on an ancient lake bed to be one with "fatwood otter"
I think the Burning Man theme this year was "Fatwood Beaver".Confusing anyone at burning man is pretty easy. This year the weather forecast called for heavy rain so they moved to lower, flatter ground on an ancient lake bed to be one with "fatwood otter"
I have that same axe, it's solid. My dad stopped hunting with his dad when he was 14 or 15. Dad passed away 9 years ago and these are a few items in his pack that he last used around 1960. I wish the Crusher fit my head.

I have that same bag, used to be my shoulder bag for fishing excursions....I have that same axe, it's solid.
Truly precious family artifacts. A unsolicited suggestion; keep them together, with a written account of their significance. My dad stopped hunting with his dad when he was 14 or 15. I plan on doing that with all the contents. But no kids here. I took my nephew hunting two years ago and it’s not for him. I will give it to one of my cousins kids in the future.Truly precious family artifacts. A unsolicited suggestion; keep them together, with a written account of their significance.
You guys should know when Krusty sets the firepit wheels in motion it3) A backyard firepit might well be a decent alternative...I am 'fired up', so to speak, to experiment with the wonders of fatwood.

You just brought it standing to attention again...Sorry @Jim in Anacortes . I didn’t mean to hijack your fat wood thread.
Damn right! I'm goin' with the 16" wide 64 lb blocks....You guys should know when Krusty sets the firepit wheels in motion it
A- Will be on or below budget
B- Will be ahead of schedule
C- Will not involve a ring of half-assed home depot retaining wall block bullshit
D- Will have a ridiculous amount of freshly-sourced ponderosa/tamarack Fatwood
E- Will likely have a redundant (but habitual) backup plan of military-grade accelerants
F- The firepit, when lit, will be visible from space
(also point E is why you never want to anger/lowhole Krusty....)
