SOLD Redington Brakewater 7/8 Fly Reel

SOLD - Redington Brakewater 7/8 fly reel spooled with an older saltwater 8wt line. This reel has been collecting dust and needs a new home. The paint on the logo and reel size indication area has rubbed off a little (which was common on these reels), but it does not affect performance. It has a few minor scratches, but is in good pre-owned condition as can be seen in the photos.

The Brakewater was Redington's flagship reel at the time it was introduced and is suitable for freshwater or saltwater use. It has a sturdy drag and is built like a tank. Comes with a Redington reel pouch. Asking $200 Shipped to the lower 48. PayPal goods and services.

Thanks for catching that. I cut and paste from another site and the price didn't transfer... I added it.

They are a cool color, and a cool reel, and I landed quite a few bonefish and salmon using this reel when I first got it. Every time I pull it out of the bin it sits in, I think to myself "why haven't I been using this?". But somewhere along the way my progression to fancier stuff has made this one the poor stepchild. Time for it to go to someone who will get some use out of it.
