This is gonna be tight. Tight window. M’s have top capabilities. Playing a hair below 500ish’ or just ripping it. They are gonna need another streak. And what’s left? 16 games. They have to go 10-6 or 11-5 at best. I think ???? That’s some pressure. And they put it on themselves too.
 
Blue Jays won, Texas is going to, and Astros are behind 🤞 Now I’d love to see a good win against the Dodgers.

They are young with lots of upside for sure. It shows with recent games and series they have won.
 
As a Dodger fan since they were in Brooklyn, starting in the 1940's I suppose I could brag as they have won the most games in baseball in the past 10 years. Now a perennial division champion I just expect them to win every year. They have the most successful franchise in baseball and are like family as a team. It is surprising that the Mexican Julio Urias didn't fit in as he had a bright future had he dealt with his anger issues. He could have made millions in free agency or signed a plum contract with LA, now there is a chance he may never pitch again. Maybe in Japan or Korea.

Having the Dodgers sweep the M's was sweet, they won today with backup players. I think the M's are toast...

I came close to buying tickets too but I already went to 2 this year and well. Rain is coming in so the river will be getting my time.

Seems to be most people's favorite George Brett moment - I much preferred his chase for .400 in 1980 - 3 for 3 on August on August 20 to raise his average to .406. First player ever with 3,000 hits, 300 home runs, 600 doubles, 100 triples, 1,500 RBIs, and 200 stolen bases. Much more than that moment. Not to mention the wife sat beside him, way off to the side, at T-ball games, him spittin' sunflower seeds and she having no idea who he was.

He is really a class act!!

Helluva ball player. Played to win, no BS major Major Leaguer. His brother Kenny was a good player also. Seemed like he was on a different team every year, though. Remember him playing for the BoSox early in his career.
 
As Keith Bishop told the Broncos huddle in 1986 at their own 2 yard line, down by 7 in the closing minutes of a playoff game, "Now we've got them right where we want them." At the start of the season you could not ask for anything more than a real opportunity to win the division with 10 games to go. It has been a fun ride. And Cal Raleigh is a beast.
