Looking for Kamloops guide recommendations

Hello,
My family and I are planning a trip through lower BC Canada end of June. I wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for guides in the Kamloops area. I will be fishing with my young teenage daughter who has about 2 years of limited fly fishing experience but loves fishing.

Brian Chan is very likely booked full but he referred me to Mike Porco when I tried to book him about 4 years ago. Mike is a really great guy and good with beginners and teens. My 14 year old grandson really liked him. We fished Roche Lake on a day when two 20 lb anchors were dragging from the wind and conditions were tough but we eventually found fish, including a 24” that was grandson’s best. Roche lake bows are thick and strong, 18” fish were taking into the backing. Boat is a nice 17’ G3.

You're welcome. Whomever you end up fishing with, the lake fishing around Kamloops is just fantastic. Be prepared to be spoiled.....:):):):)
 
I'm curious as to what lakes you'll find yourself on with Brian Chan, legend has it one of the lakes we fish was designed by Brian Chan. Good luck. Have a blast.

WOW! That's really pretty fantastic. Good for you AND your daughter! Hope it all works out for you. If it does, you will learn so much about fishing for trout in lakes. Just very cool. Please, if it happens, get back to us with a bit of a report. There's a bunch of guys - and girls - here that would really enjoy learning how your day went. Good luck.
