AccuWeather dropped wind FORCAST

it appears wind speed and direction is given for current time, but has been deleted in the hourly forecast.

Am I missing something? Did AccuWeather stick forecasted wind speed and direction some other place?

I used to use the forecast for winter salt and spring drift boat lake fishing.

what weather web site do you use to determine wind direction and speed?

Hi, Greg -
I use Windfinder - https://www.windfinder.com/#11/47.3100/-119.4770 I like that you can select several hours during the day and several days in advance and get a hint of vector and speed.

I remember I used to check several wind strength sites like NOAA and U of Hawaii meteorological site just prior to heading offshore for a day of trolling…almost always the days I could fish the wind forecasts were the most incorrect…

I have used Windfiner, Ventusky, and Windy for years. The best IMO is Windy when you put it on the NAM model. The NAM model only goes out for 48 hours but it seems to be the most accurate wind predictor for sure.

WU 10 day is generally pretty accurate and for current conditions I use the Windometer Iphone app.
