Always some group saying we are forming a new state, or joining another state...
State of this, or greater that.
Been hearing how they are going to do this for over 40 years, never seen one concrete, legislative move forward though. I have my doubts they really know what they are doing, ever heard their spokespeople talk ?

And these people are often expecting more from life just by renaming or reclaiming some land. It doesn’t work that way. I have never been able to relate to grievance politics. Seems like life is unfair and most people who do alright work hard.
I actually inadvertently came across just such a rally being held at a shopping center. Biggest collection of flakes, cranks, scroggins and goobers I've seen assembled in one place at the same time.

See...I paid attention too...even if it was hard to follow at times, but that was probably just because I tried to make sense of it, rather than just accept it on face value.

Something about Tuesdays is also important, but not sure why.

Soooo….what happens when Dallas and Houston and their population centers and tax bases and electoral votes decide to “secede” and leave TX? Or the blue areas of the south…say Miami or Tampa, decide to do the same? Or…..any big metro area in “red” states? Hmm, didn t quite think that through, did ya???? Let that happen and see how the math works out for you.
We could sit here and literally redraw the whole god damn map of the USA, or we could stop acting like spoiled children not getting their way, get in a room and work through things like f*cking adults.
