Cable tv. Amazing more channels than you can imagine. Woke up early this am and could not sleep. Tired of the gop vs dem garb on news. Nothing else on good, so I grabbed the remote and pressed the speak button and said β€˜Fly Fishing’. Numerous shows appeared but not all fly fishing. Watched a show with Don Freschi and Brian Chan. β€˜Interesting and enjoyable enough for 30’er or so minutes. There’s 18 or more episodes and on some channel or network I never heard of but free. β€˜ Sport Fishing on the Fly’, if I remember correctly, They were on a lake in BC fishing Leeches. It was enjoyable and Chan has some insights I liked. I have watched some fly fishing shows before but so many were infomercials type I didn’t care for. Spanish fly I can’t get. There was the dude down south that had a good show but forget name of it. Just wondering if any good shows or documentaries to focus in on?

That's hilarious. I've done this probably 3 times in the last week while not being able to sleep. I just have a ROKU stick with a number of streaming services and I just do a search on Youtube. Plus, I ended up actually buying Brad Bohen's latest flick called MCO Lessons (hours of musky stuff)--this one was a couple of years ago, but I still watch it all of the time....that's on Vimeo though. Mostly though, I've lately been looking up more salty stuff focusing on Baja.

A lot of the shows I liked have changed networks over the years and it was hard to keep up. I think most of them are now on network called the World Fishing Network. Xfinity/Comcast does not carry it. One of the shows I have enjoyed watching in the past that was fly fishing was The New Fly Fisher.

Miumiu-The Guitar Girl. She is 11 now and growing up with her voice maturing. If you have never seen her recording of Hotel California made when she was 6 you owe it to yourself to watch this amazing performance. She plays at least 6 guitars, drums, rhythm section and sings in a foreign language. This had to be a difficult feat to perform, especially at age 6. Many, many recordings had to be made individually then all blended together seamlessly to achieve the end result. A bona fide prodigy

Just watched. As with many of these young players, they get the notes right, but there's no feel. Amazing performance for a six year old no doubt. But just no 'feel'. No soul like you would get with say Carlos Santana, or SRV, or even Don Felder. Unfair comparison for sure but I just can't listen to them.

When way upon the couch, I always invest in a show. I always invest in a show!! Most of the time I'm digging in, looking to WATCH something. Then next time it's ahh whatever!!!
