NFR Kentucky bound!!

My HS friend Lara and her friend, my new friend Swarupa. I'll see them again in a few days and am staying with Lara and her husband after the bourbon trail. We hit a nice brewery, Bluegrass Brewing in Louisville last night together after the Angel's Envy tour!

Now in Bardstown! Nice day at Stitzel-Weller and Jim Beam! Dinner at Mammys Kitchen and Bar. Too long a wait to get in but it was good! And i just met Emily Beam and her husband Nicholas Willet! Wow!

Heaven Hills and Willet today. Most of the distilleries are closed on Monday and some on Tuesday. Chilling in Bardstown.. nice pace today! Will be doing Old Forester tomorrow morning and then going to my friend Laras place out near Shelbyville.. might do a few distilleries like Bulliet there, but mainly hanging with her and meeting her new husband on there farm (about 5 acres)..20230220_150640.jpg20230220_141725.jpg
 
Last night was our last night in Bardstown. Stopped by the Blind Pig in town for the second time! Great shop! Also loved Shreks Liquor and Evergreen Liquor/ NULU! Great prices and selections and you can sample stuff too!

Leaving Bardstown now, one more tour of Old Forester in Louisville at 10am this morning and then to Finchville to stay with my longtime High School friend Lara and her husband! Plus the animals on there 5.5 acre farm! 4 dogs, 2 goats, 3 big geese and a cat too!20230221_083458.jpg20230221_083440.jpg
 
Old Forester this morning! Even got a few allocated bottles! Bulliet this week and another distillery and Kentucky winery (Talon).. will be fun and chill for the rest of the week!
