What's the best type of action for a single hand skagit rod?

If one were to purchase a 9' 7wt rod for the purpose of steelhead fishing with a single hand skagit setup, which action would be better, med-fast or fast?

I'm not sure, but based on all the rods I have and have tried, I think the closer to medium action would Skagit cast most comfortably.

Thanks Salmo. I've currently got a OPST Commando Smooth on a 5wt Loomis that's a fast action. My backup 5wt is a Redington Crosswater, which I believe is a med-fast action. I might throw the Commando on the Crosswater and see if it performs any better.
