SFR WA Dept of Natural Resources made a hiking playlist...

Sorta fishing-related
That reminds me of years ago I saw billboard erected by the Massachusetts Port Authority in downtown Boston that said "A Little Courtesy Won't Kill You".
(Anyone who has ever driven there will know exactly what they meant!)

That's funny.

I have music in my head nearly 100% of the time. My youngest does too. She has earbuds in most of the time. I once asked her why she was always listening to music. Her response: "That way I can control the volume."
I have music playing a large percent of the time too. My reason is that I can control the content.

There is something so very rude about forcing your music on someone though. I can't imagine playing music in an nature based setting. I envy those who can have a quiet brain. Why would I ruin that for them?

I think it's awesome that a few of the resource mgmt agencies are pivoting to humor for outreach and engagement. For too many years, NPS SocMed was drier than week-old toast and was incredibly boring to read, no matter how truly interesting or important the message. Now they've got an engagement person who is definitely leaning on the "funny meme" button and still communicating relevant info, and they're well worth a follow.

Here's one from a few days ago -

For some serious fun, go back to the start of the summer and check out the whole "Don't pet the Fluffy Cows" series.
