The Green ‘26

My buddy Mike and I made our annual pilgrimage to the Green river below Flaming Gorge. The weather forecast for a couple days before fishing was not encouraging…low temps and rain. Woke up to 24 degrees…warmed to 36 when we got on the water…overcast, so streamers…

All in all a very good day…some nice fish on streamers, and I fished a beetle & large glass bead soft hackle combo that put the two largest bows at 21& 20 in the net…a few browns came up to eat the beetle as well…

Long drive back…it's the first time Ive experienced an 70 temperature change in 10 hours…it was 16 degrees when I left Pinedale this morning at 5:45…when It got to southern NV, it was 86…
