RMNP and Estes Park in mid October

Thinking of driving the camper van west from Kentucky to meet family in the RMNP area in mid October for a week. Is this too late? Snow possible?
Van is a FWD Promaster. Love the area. Thanks for any insights to this time of year.
 
Indian summer time. Snow is possible though not likely. Fish will be starting to hold in the deeper pools.
